Mumbai gunman says he’s ready to be hanged

The only surviving gunman from the Mumbai attacks last year says he is ready to be hanged for his crime.
"If the punishment is hanging, then go ahead and hang me," Mohammed AjmalKasab said Tuesday in court when asked if he understood the gravity of the confession he made a day earlier, Bloomberg News reported.
The confession had come as a surprise as Kasab had previously denied his involvement in the November attacks, which left 166 people dead. Among the victims were Chabad Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka.
