                  The chess tournament organized by the Jewish Community Center has taken place in Dnepropetrovsk.

                  On November 3 the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish Community Center carried out the wide chess tournament. There were 34 chess players in the age from 10 to 75 years. Among participants there were amateurs, 1 master of sports and 9 candidates. The national category judge Vladimir Iljich Makarevich, international grand master Gennady Gutman and the head Community Center programs Svetlana Dudarova have conducted the tournament. The Chief Rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk r. Shmuel Kaminetskiy and the director of DJCC Mariya Krasnaya greeted participants with telegrams.
