11.11.2002 After emigration to Israel about a month ago, the community of Indian Jews has declared they are descendants of one of ten clans of ancient Israelis. To check it up, experts have suggested them to make DNA-analysis but emigrants have flatly refused. The group consisting of 4,5 thousand persons names itself Beney Menashi. Indian Jews are convinced the efforts of Israeli and American scientists are directed on discrediting their myth about relationship with Israelis.
