Birth of the new Russian-speaking Israeli channel "Israel Plus" - "the great success".
12.11.2002 The economic newspaper "Globes" has defined as "the great success" the first day of broadcasting the Russian-speaking Israeli channel "Israel Plus". While the official data are being processed, experts in Mass-Media field assume that, at least, 30% of Russian-speaking families or 15%, if to speak in terms of total number of new repatriates, watched the new channel on November 12. This index, however, can be much higher. For example, the Director of the channel Julia Shamalova-Berkovich informed the Israeli press, that 84% of Russian-speaking families in Israel watched the channel in the evening of its first broadcast.
