"Israel Ba-Aliah" (IBA) party (the first party representing basically Russian-speaking natives of countries of the former Soviet Union) starts discussing principles of formation of pre-election lists.
Some time ago the scandal occurred in IBA party when two outstanding functionaries have addressed the letter to the Chairman of IBA, Natan Scharansky, with the offer to cancel party elections and let Sharansky himself make the list of candidates for the Knesseth. The order of elections of deputies and arrangement of priorities in the party caused numerous scandals. Once it became one of the reasons for some outstanding "Russian" politicians, such as Michael Nudelman, Jury Stern, Roman Bronfman, to leave the party.
This time IBA decided to follow the democratic way and to carry out prime-eris to choose candidates for the Knesseth. Prime-eris should take place in two weeks, on December 5.
