                  The exhibition "Jewish World in Postcards" has come to the end in Kaliningrad. The exhibition was has organized by the Jewish Agency in cooperation with the society "Judaic of Petersburg". During the exhibition there were conducted lectures on history of Erets Israel, Zionism and history of Jewish people. There also took place the open discussions on vital topics of life of Israeli society. The representative of the Jewish Agency in Northwest of Russia, Marina Kontsevaya, informed that over 6 thousand Jews now live in Kaliningrad. Because of disagreements between Russia and the European Union concerning visa regime, there are serious difficulties for Jews, residents of Kaliningrad, wishing to be repatriated to Israel. Potential repatriates have to take bus to Warsaw and therefrom fly to Israel. Despite of this, the life of the Jewish Community of Kaliningrad does not freezes. The city club for youth and the Jewish Community center keep functioning.
