IV "Non fiction" intellectual literature fair opened in the Central House of Painter, Krymskiy Wal str. Several dozens of publishing houses, Russian as well as foreign, present practically the entire spectrum of modern intellectual literature. Several publishing houses dedicated their stalls to Jewish fields of interest.
"Bridges of culture/Herashim" association presented several dozens of books. "War on Terror" by the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Natanyahu recently published and highly important now; three volumes of the "Newest History of The Jewish people" completed in 1938 by Simon Dubnov, prominent Jewish historian killed in 1941 in Riga; third volume of "Time and Events articles" by Phelix Kandel delaing with life of Jewish community of the Soviet Union in 1917- 1939; as well as studies of a famous literature scientist L.Katsis on O.E.Mandelstam under the intriguing title "Osip Mandelstam. Musk of Judaism" are few of the works presented at the exhibition.
Across form the stalls of "Bridges of culture" visitors will find those of "Jewish Encyclopedia". Here, four volumes of "Russian Jewish Encyclopedia" can be bought. And finally, the stalls of the "House of Jewish Books" are right across the row. Many interesting things can be found here, such as the protocols of interrogations of A.Eichmann, a beautifully done "Jewish world in postcards", translation of Talmud done by A.Steinsaltz, etc.
