Heaviest governmental crisis in the field of taxation is on.
02.12.2002 The heaviest governmental crisis in the field of taxation is continuing. The amount of taxes collected in November is 12,2 billions of shekels, showing an 8% decrease if compared to 13,4 billions of shekels in October, and an average 18% decrease of 15 billions of shekels per every month of the third quarter.
The Israeli Ministry of Finance reports that the state treasury received 162,1 billions of shekels of tax money from January to October.
In accordance with the original version of the 2002 budgetary estimate, the government predicts collection of 191 billions of shekels of tax money during the current financial year.
The present tempo of tax collection decrease remains, by the end of the year, the state will loose a couple of billions of shekels if considering the updated version of the national budget; or about 15 billions of shekels if considering the original version.
