Sverdlovsk region governor Edward Rossel participated in a Hanukkah Evening performance.
The Governor stressed that peace and understanding between all the nationalities is a very important phenomenon for the multinational Sverdlovsk region. That is why the region government does everything possible to help any person living in the Middle Ural to go back to his/her background, traditions, and the culture of the nationality he/she belongs to.
Edward Rossel told about the synagogue currently built in Yekaterinburg in Kuybishev str. The synagogue is to be ready by the summer of the next year.
Moscow Mitzvah Jewish music ensemble, the boy chorus and the Yekaterinburg Jewish secondary school girl dance ensemble participated in the Hanukkah gala concert.
