Russia and Israel have started discussion of the project of creating the joint fund.

The Israeli association of increased risk funds and similar Russian association have signed the cooperation agreement in the field of financing enterprises of high technologies.
According to the agreement the sides are obliged to promote creation of new joint funds of increased risk, to encourage mutual investment of existing funds, to expand financing the hi-tech enterprises of both countries and to promote development of modern technologies.
Representatives of the Israeli Industry and Trade Ministry inform that Russia and Israel have started discussing the project of joint fund creation in support of research and development area (R*D). Last week the sides have signed the pre-agreement about intentions. Russia has expressed interest in organizing the meetings of experts in the field of electro-optics and biotechnology from both countries. In the nearest future the delegation of Israeli experts on problems of research and development is leaving for Russia.
