There is planned creation of the research center of Jewish emigration from Russia.

These days the international scientific conference "120 years of Jewish emigration from Russia" has come to the end in Moscow. The Conference was organized by the Jewish agency in cooperation with the Moscow University and the center of teaching Jewish culture "Sefer". Among themes, which were discussed at conference, there was: history of Jewish emigration from Russia and struggle of Soviet Jews for the right of departure from the USSR. Among experts who have taken part in conference there were representatives from Russia, the USA, Germany and Israel. Alla Levi, the representative of Israel at the Conference, has presented report "Zionism as the factor in definition of the country of emigration for Soviet Jews". Organizers of the Conference intend to transform it into annual forum. Besides, they plan to create the research center of Jewish emigration from Russia.
