The small and cozy hall of a department of new receipts of the Kharkov State Scientific Library (KSSL) named after V.G.Korolenko housed the people treating release of the Jewish art-publicistic almanac in Kharkov as the surprise, the news and the revelation. But the lecture on the almanac, the child of the Jewish Cultural Center Beit Dan", became the real Event for them.
The meeting was conducted by the expert on Judaic, Lion Shakhnovsky; the poet, Ilya Rissenberg; the writer, Leo Jakovlev, and the philologist, Oleg Koval. Among participants of the meeting there were employees of the library, readers and guests. The third presentation of the almanac - the first has passed in Germany (Hannover), the second passed in Russia (Moscow) - has taken place within the framework of the Communal Festival of the Jewish Book "CFJB 5763" alongside with the exhibition of Jewish books from funds of the Kharkov State Scientific Library named after V.G.Korolenko. Among the exhibited books there were submitted literary works on Jewish theology, philosophy, encyclopedic editions, art prose, essayistics, political works
