                  Jewish music of different centuries - in cities of Russia.

                  The important event in cultural life of Russian Jews is connected with performances of the musical trio "Kamerata Akademos" in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kaliningrad. The musical trio presented the program "The Millenium of Jewish music". On the repertoire of "Kamerata Akademos" there are compositions created by Jewish composers of different countries during many centuries. Russian audience had an opportunity to get acquainted with Jewish music from Spain and Eastern Europe, songs on Yiddish, remakes of Chassidic melodies and also Dutch and Italian synagogues' liturgy of the 17-th century. Concerts of "Kamerata Akademos" have been carried out at support of the Jewish Agency.
