The "Jerusalem" exhibition - within the framework of the project of cultural exchange between Moscow and Ramat Gan.

                  18.12.2002

The Moscow state showroom, the New Arena, and the Museum of Russian art named after Ceytlins, Ramat Gan city (Israel), have developed in the 2000 the long-term project of cooperation in the field of cultural exchange aimed at development of partner relations between artists, photographers and critics of two cities. The project is carried out at support of the Committee on culture of Moscow administration, the Russian Jewish Congress, the Embassy of Israel in the Russian Federation, the Moscow branch of "Joint" welfare fund and department of culture of Ramat Gans city, (Israel).
The first steps on the way to cooperation became "Personal preferences" - the exhibition of Israeli painters-natives of Russia held in the "New Arena" exhibition hall in 2001 - and the collection of photos from "New Arena's" funds "Moscow. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow" exhibited in the Museum of Russian art named after Ceytlins. The project will be continued by the exhibition "Jerusalem" containing Michael Hazin's painting (Russia) and photos by Shayke Altuvya (Israel) which will take place in the Moscow Sate Exhibiting hall "New Arena" from January 2 till January 12, 2003.
