Georgia - the natural ally of Israel.

The Vice-premier Natan Sharansky has met in the Knesseth the parliamentary delegation from Georgia. Among delegates there were the leader of fraction "New rights", David Gamkrelidze, and the head of the commission on defence, Irakliy Batiashvily. Scharansky has emphasised, that Georgia, as well as Russia, is the natural ally of Israel. "Those who think that our struggle against terror is a tribal conflict between Arabs and Jews are deeply mistaken. The acts of terrorism in Jerusalem, New York and Moscow have the same fingerprint", Scharansky said. "We should unit our efforts and resist the terror based on the Islamic fundamentalism!" Visitors from Georgia have emphasised that in their country they adopt the Israeli experience of struggle against terror. "Our party consistently lobbies interests of Israel", has told Irakly Batiashvily. "Our country wants to become the trustworthy partner of Israel. We are ready to support you on international scene and at the UN voting". The parties have also discussed plans of constructing an oil pipeline - the project which could interest the Israeli investors. Also the Georgian delegation has met the chairman of the Knesset, A.Burg.
