The Deputy of Ukraine ("Our Ukraine" fraction) Eugeny Chervonenko has submitted the request to the general public prosecutor Svjatoslav Piskun to bring the criminal case basing on the article 161 of the Criminal Codex of Ukraine (infringement of equality of citizens depending on their racial, national, religious belonging); on the article 346 of the Criminal Codex (threat or violence in respect of a state or public figure). It is informed in the open letter of the deputy to the president, the prime minister, the speaker of the parliament, deputies of Ukraine, foreign ambassadors in Ukraine, investors, the World Jewish Congress and law enforcement departments.
According to the Chervonenko's letter, on December 12 and 16 "at the territory of "Orlan Trans" public corporation the big circulation of anti-Semitic leaflets humiliating my dignity was printed by typographical method and distributed. Besides the leaflets contained threats in my address, as the Deputy and the Ukrainian Jew", the deputy mentions.
Eugeny Chervonenko believes that occurrence of leaflets is the "continuation of political terror aimed against me as the People's Deputy and the member of the block "Our Ukraine". He also assumes that latest events are connected with the conflict of "Orlan" concern with the Lvov tax administration.
"These leaflets are not typical of Lvov. They have appeared during continued terror caused by city tax inspection checks at enterprises. Before that the officers of Lvov tax inspection made attempts to destabilize the enterprise, demanding from the workers the information "discrediting" head management and me personally as the Honourable President of the concern "Orlan", writes Chervonenko.
At the end of the letter the deputy declares he is compelled to ask "Orlan" to take him off the post of the concern president in light of the mentioned events.
