India and Israel expand cooperation.
21.12.2002 India and Israel expand military cooperation and plan to take conjoin participation in the weapon market.
According to MENL agency, Indian state company Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has signed the agreement with the Israeli company Israel Aircraft Industries about joint development and selling of light helicopters. These machines can be used both for military and civil needs.
It is one of the steps India made to become a big exporter of military technical equipment in the region of Persian gulf, marks the source. Besides the mentioned joint project will allow both states to expand their weapon markets.
