"Jewish vodka" hits taste not only of Jews.
23.12.2002 The kosher product, "Jewish vodka", is the unique phenomenon in Russian alcohol industries.
This drink is being produced by the "Urozhay" factory for six years. It is the only type of vodka produced under supervision of the Rabbi and officially recognised to be kosher. Half a litre costs about 2 dollars that is quite in the price range for Russians. "Urozhay" director, Valery Gorbatenkov, mentions that "Jewish" is one of the most popular vodka of his factory.
Actually, any not seasoned vodka is automatically considered to be kosher. But "Jewish vodka" has its "permanent audience" which is involved not only by presence of the kosher mark but also by the name of the product.
