                  The ceremony of commemorating the victims of the Holocaust and Stalin repression is taking place in Moscow's Yermolov Theat

                  The ceremony commemorating victims of the "Black January" Stalin repression and Holocaust is taking place in Moscow's Yermolov Theatre Jan. 27, 2003.
                  The event is organized by Solomon Mikhoels Cultural centre and sponsored by "Holocaust" Interregional Fund.
                  In Several European states, Jan. 27, the day Auschwitz was liberated, is observed as National Holocaust Memorial Day. The death of Solomon Mikhoels, a prominent actor, director and public figure killed 55 years ago by direct order from Stalin is another tragic page in the history of the 20th century. 1953 is the year of one of the most shameful deeds of Stalinism: the 50th anniversary of the Doctors' case is observed this January.
                  The selection from "The Last Death by Shooting" concert performance, and the closing of the 4th Moscow Solomon Mikhoels International Art Festival, featuring performance by USSR People's artist Vladimir Andreyev, Georgian People's artist Tamara Gvertzitelli, Russian People's artist Mikahil Gluza, Russian Honored Art Worker Irina Goryunova, Igor Butman, Yelena Butilkina's "Ego" ballet company, and "Buratino" children dancing ensemble - are scheduled for the event.
                  The event will feature the presentation of the book "Holocaust and the Case of the Jewish Antifascist Committee" compiled by Ilya Altman and the ceremony of awarding the 1st International "Holocaust. Memory and Warning" prize.
                  The event will include the World premier of "Process", a documentary by Alexander Zeldovich.
