                  The departments of religion and national minorities of the Minsk Region Executive Committee has announced that, according to the census, the number of Jews in Minsk region decreased by six times over the period from 1959 to 1999.
                  Moreover, according to the census data, the Tatar Diaspora has decreased from 2127 to 1776 over that past forty years.
