Jewish school presentation in Perm.

The presentation of Perm Jewish national school will be held on January 28. The school principal Marina Snychova says the Jewish secondary school "OR Avner HaBaD" was opened on September 2, 2002 when twenty-five Perm children attended the first class there. During the upcoming presentation, the school administration will introduce the visitors to the work of the school.
The school provides both, basic state-approved and Jewish ethno and cultural education. The students study Hebrew, Jewish culture and history. Currently, the students of the grades from five to eight attend the school. The direction hopes to have a complete educational process, that is grades from 5 to 11. The lessons are conducted by teachers from secondary schools and Perm Pedagogical Institute. Jewish culture classes are conducted by members of the Jewish community.
