World Russian-speaking Jewish Congress against NSPR's activities.

                  26.01.2003

About seventy activists of the National State Party of Russia gathered on Sunday morning near the office of the World Russian-speaking Jewish Congress, Chayanov str, Moscow. In his interview to Rosbalt, the party's co-chairman Stanislav Terekhov said that the action was against the World Congress's demand to disband the party. "We are against the fact that the World Congress, other public figure, as well as "Noviye Izvestiya" and "Moscow News" newspapers, TV 1 in the person of Vladimir Poztner, and NTV show us as fascists", proclaimed Terekhov.
"Member of our party do not like that people having no Russian citizenship or having a double one teach Russians how to live", he pointed out. Terekhov said that suit hearings in Taganskiy district court of the city of Moscow would start on February, 26. The suit was filed by the party following the Ministry of Justice's warning issued December 31, 2002 "in connection with stirring up hatred between the nationalities", and deemed illegal by the party members. "This warning is the first step forwards to disbanding the party", assured Terekhov.
Just a reminder: National State Party of Russia was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation September 16, 2002. On September 30, the World Russian-speaking Jewish Congress sent the Russian President a letter requesting the ban of the party since "its activities are based on the Nazi ideology".
