The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev offers to hold in Kazakhstan an interconfessional conference of leaders of the world and authoritative national religions. The President announced his decision during a recent meeting with John Paul II in Vatican.
"We address Your Holiness, the leadership of the Holly See, requesting assistance in a joint holding of an interconfessional conference of the leaders of world and authoritative national religions in Kazakhstan, the heart of Eurasia", pointed out the President.
