The international Conference of Peace and Consent has passed in Almaty.

The international Conference of Peace and Consent, initiated by the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev, took place in Almaty. On its results the permanent "Forum of Peace and Stability" is founded. It should promote the dialogue between nations which, having finished the international terrorism, will provide prosperity of the region. The religious figures representing Islam, Orthodoxy, Catholicism and Judaism participated in the Conference.
Among the guests of Nazarbaev there were presidents of Kirghizia and Tadjikistan, Askar Akayev and Emomali Rakhmonov, and also ministers of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Turkey. Leaders of Jewish organizations were attracted by stable conditions in Kazakhstan, therefore large investments into its economy would possibly have place. This possibility was confirmed by Michael Bezeljansky, the Vice-president of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, during his interview to the correspondent of "Time for news" newspaper. All participants have agreed that international terrorism has nothing in common with Islam. However, media magnate Mortimer Zukermann (the owner of US News and World Report) has specified, that certainly, "terrorism is outside nationality and religion, though religion can be used for terrorists inspiration".
