New issue of the "Korni" (The Roots) magazine has been released.

The next issue of the "Korni" social and publicist magazine of the Jewish community of Central Russia and Volga region ("Jewish World" publishing house) is releasedt. The magazine has been published since 1994, with one issue every six months, and is sponsored by the Fund for Development of Jewish communities of Russia and Ukraine, the American Worldwide Jewish Service project.
The magazine deals with different aspects of Jewish culture, history, education, traditions, problems of national self-consciousness, the renaissance of public life. Facts on Jewish life, the history of Jewish communities and those of particular families are published in the magazine. The authors from the cities and towns of Central Russia and Volga region publish their articles in the magazine. However, authors from other regions of the former USSR and from abroad are welcome as well.
