Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel: Help form Kazakhstan is useful.
19.02.2003 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel has announced that, following the request made by Israel, the Kazakh officials have agreed to participate in liberating three Israeli soldiers. Three year ago, they were captured by Hezbollah and are allegedly held in Lebanon or Iran. The Israeli side is sure that, no matter the outcome, the help from Kazakhstan will be of use; even if the prisoners will not be released, the more accurate information on their condition may be acquired. Previously, Kazakhstan helped in liberating several Israeli citizens held in captivity in Iran; currently, the Kazakh-Iran negotiations on liberating a captive Israeli pilot Pon Arada are approaching the end.
