Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg adopted a law to toughen sanctions against Nazi paraphernalia production.
21.02.2003 The Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg approved the procedure of the administrative responsibility for production, distribution and demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia.
To bring the existing standard acts of Saint Petersburg to conformity with the Federal legislation, the members of the city's Legislative Assembly adopted on the whole the law "On Administrative Responsibility for Nazi Paraphernalia Production in the Territory of Saint Petersburg".
Production of Nazi paraphernalia for use in TV movies, feature films, plays, literary works and other materials condemning fascism is not considered to be an administrative offence.
