                  THE ADDRESS ON IMMORTALIZING THE MEMEORY OF HOLOCAUST VICTIMS IN ODESSA


                  Over several years Odessa regional Association of the former prisoners of nazi ghettos and concentration camps have been involved into creating a Memorial to Holocaust victims: 240,000 Jews of Odessa region were tortured, killed, and burned by nazi invaders in 1941-45.
                  The design of the memorial is ready. The memorial will include monuments to the Holocaust victims, to the Righteous of the World, to the victims of the Jewish pogrom in Odessa, and to the prominent Jews who lived and created in the city.
                  Odessa's city administration has given a plot of 13,2 hectares for the memorial site.
                  We, the Holocaust survivors, call upon all those who treasure the memory of the relatives and friends murdered by nazi in World War II; as well as upon all the people of good will who remember innocent Jewish souls perished in the Catastrophe, to make a contribution into building the Memorial and send the money into the bank account of the Association. Please, mark "for the Memorial".
                  The name of sponsors, with their consent, will be written on a plaque by the portal entrance.
