The Ministry of Ethnic Policy of Udmurtia agreed to partially finance the Jewish community.

The Panel of the local Ministry of Ethnic policy was held Udmurtia. It was attended by the minister, his deputies, and the heads of national and cultural unions and people of art invited for the event. The Minister of Ethnic policy delivered a report on the results of 2002, and plans for 2003. The Government of Udmurtia agreed to partially finance the community's holiday of Purim, the festivities on the 10th anniversary of the Jewish Culture Community Centre, the workshop on Tradition studies, and the Jewish Book Fair. Sponsored by the Ministry, the "Jews in Udmurtia" permanent exposition will be on display in the National Museum
Minister V.Zavalin awarded three Panel members (the Jewish Culture Community Centre, the "Aikai" Udmurt song theatre and the Department of Culture of the mayor's office of the town of Sarapula) the diplomas "For a Great Contribution into Implementing Ethnic Policy in the Republic of Udmurtia in 2002".
