12.03.2003 The group of soiphers from Dnepropetrovsk has received Israeli-type diplomas. two months before the trip candidates from the Dnepropetrovsk Center were having lessons of the sophrut teacher from Israel, Fender Nismann. Later the group left for Jerusalem where the students passed examination conducted by the rabbi Viner - the author of the book "Rabbi's Letters" and the outstanding expert in the field of sophrut, famous for his brilliant analysis of the Alter Rabbi's handwriting. The rabbi Viner has highly estimated professionalism of the Ukrainian soiphers and even has been a little surprised with the fact that copyists of such a high level arrived from the city where revival of the Jewish life began only ten years ago.
