A recent workshop organized by the Jewish agency was held in Russia.

A workshop organized by the Jewish agency in Russia was recently completed in Orsk. It was a one day workshop, and lasted for about eight hours, starting in the morning and ending in the evening. A similar workshop had also been conducted in the town of Novotroitsk. The topics of the workshop were: Jewish self-consciousness, the Jewish family, and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
The lectures were delivered by I.A. Gorstein, the "Himel" category lecturer and the Head of the Jewish community of a town in the Chelyabinsk region.
Those who attended the event were pleased with the content of the workshop and with the way the information was presented. The lecturer was pleasantly surprised by the number of the people interested in the Jewry and actively participating in the activities of the communities of Orsk and Novotroitsk.
