                  Byelorussia has three Judaic religious unions subdivided into 37 communities.

                  There are about 2000 temples and 2830 communities representing different religious confessions. In the country, there are also 152 religious inter-confessional organizations: religious unions, fraternities, sororities, missionary unions, religious educational institutions. More that 35% of the Byelorussians interviewed considered themselves to be believers; and the same percentage of people could not give a definite answer.
                  Situated in the middle of Europe, Byelorussia has been influenced by practically every world's major religion. As a result, Christianity has been present for over 1000 years now, Catholicism - 700, Islam and Judaism
