A new Jewish radio station in Birobidja.
20.03.2003 A new Jewish radio started broadcasting in Birobidjan. On Tuesday, the "Shalom" radio station started its broadcasting in the capital of the Jewish Autonomous region. The station is founded by a local religious community. The programming includes the news, local and international events featuring the Jews. The current region's Jewish population is less than 5,000 people, reports JTA.
