JOINT charitable fund branch chief visited Kazan.

The JOINT charitable fund's Central Russia and Volga region branch chief Ilya Pestrikov came on a brief visit to Kazan. He came to meet with the "Afifon" Youth Jewish centre activists, to learn about their lives, activities, and the club's problems. The club members told about their recent and current projects, as well as about those to be started soon. Despite the guest's high rank, the atmosphere of the meeting was informal and cheerful, with portions of humor. A few days later, the "Afifon" club members had a similar meeting with Simon Kaplan, the director of the "Westbury" research group, Israel; and Dassi Berkovich, Ralf Goldman fund's scholarship recipient.
