The meeting of representatives of the Jewish Community with the governor of the region took place in Saratov.
14.04.2003 Representatives of Saratov Jewish Community "Habad-Lyubavich" have met the governor of the region.
"Unfortunately, not always our Jews find understanding in different spheres. We give not enough possibility to local Jews to preach their religion, to read and watch telecasts on the native language. The traditional culture is inactively promoted. But believe, the authority has political will to solve questions arising in a daily life. I dream that all Jews, who left Saratov region, are to return", - the governor has declared in his salutatory word.
After return speeches representatives of the Jewish community have signed the contract on public consent.
