"Aliah Fairs" took place in Kiev and Paris.

Over two thousand people have visited the "Aliah Fair" carried out by the Jewish Agency near the Tour d'Eiffel in Paris. Two and a half thousand people more have visited the similar "Aliah Fair" in Kiev.
In France they registered increase in number of young families, both social and religious, weighing an opportunity of repatriation to Israel. At the same time Moshe Almoznino, the chief negotiator of the Jewish Agency at the Fair in Paris, specified that potential repatriates express concern in respect of the difficult economic situation in Israel and the corresponding extreme economic program, seriously reducing the state help to new repatriates.
During the Fair the mayors of Nagaria, Jackie Sabag, and of Ashkelon, Beni Vaknin, have represented to new repatriates opportunities of moving.
Representatives of the Israeli Ministry of Health have taken part in the Fair.
Participants of the Fair in Kiev have met employees of municipalities of Haifa, Nazrat-Ilita and Migdal a-Emeka. Representatives of Haifa Technion (institute of technology), Haifa University and of industrial enterprises of the Northern district highlighted opportunities of employment and getting high education.
Nowadays the Jewish Community of Ukraine makes 115 thousand persons.
Further "Aliah Fairs" are planned to be carried out in Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and Marseilles.
