The miracle on the eve of the great Pesakh holiday!

"You have returned the life to our son!" - with these words and tears the parents of the three-year-old Daniel Terpilovskiy thanked "Joint" and Hesed "Polina".
When the child was 8 months old, doctors of Taldykurgansky regional hospital told the parents their son would hardly live a year. The family could not accept such diagnosis - verdict. Moreover the Terpilovskiys understood that the congenital heart disease was not so terrible for modern medicine. It was useless to argue with physicians, and the family did not have money to pay for the medical service in the capital: young mother was in the maternity leave, and Daniel's father was unsuccessfully trying to find any work.
The despair has lodged in the house of Terpilovskiy. Every day the child was burning as a candle. The only thing that parents could do for him was to give him love and to believe in miracle. And the miracle has taken place on the eve of the great holiday of Pesakh!
Pesakh is not only a holiday of saving Jews from the Egyptian captivity by God, but also the beginning of existence of Jews as the nation. "Jews of all the world are responsible one for another!" - say the sons of Israel with pride. The Jewish community has never left people in trouble. We value every life. We remember that children are the future, their parents are the force, and elders are the wisdom of the community.
Having learned about the trouble of Terpilovskiys, the head of the program "Hased on Wheels", Valery Berkman, contacted the family with the programs "Medicine" and "Mazl Tov". Physicians from the hesed "Polina" examined the child and decided there was no time for hesitation. The next day Natalia Ilina, the head of "Mazl Tov", was in Almaty Institute of pediatrics together with the child and his mother.
The Terpilovskiys were spiritually restored and met that Pesakh in the firm belief in God's power and their community.
Due to the help of "Joint", hesed "Polina" could pay for the full course of Daniel's treatment. Today, looking at the kid with bright eyes who is studying the verses about Pesakh, we say again: "it's the Miracle!" The real miracle which was realized due to the American Jewish Incorporated Distributive Committee "Joint".
