Explosion of synagogue averted in Kostroma.
21.04.2003 A false explosive device with a poster on it saying "Hitler did not finish off, but we will" was found near a synagogue in Kostroma. A militiaman securing the synagogue called for special forces. The adjacent microdistrict was cordoned off and sappers arrived.
The incident occurred within the days when Jews from all around the world celebrate one of the most important holidays
