Jewish Community in Kirghizia helps victims.
22.04.2003 Mr. Askar Akayev, the President of Kirghizia, arrived at the village of Kara-Taryk, Oshsk Region, where a landslide had killed 38 people not long ago, and expressed particular gratitude to the Jewish Community in the republic, which rendered assistance to the victims and their relatives by means of gathering donations, as well as intends to also participate in elimination of consequences of the tragedy.
