Parliament of Moldova approves amendments to the law providing for the cancellation of restrictions for getting double citizensh

Henceforward, Jews having immigrated to Israel can remain citizens of Moldova. Mr. Voronin, the President of Moldova, initiated and the Parliament of Moldova approved amendments to the law providing for the cancellation of restrictions for getting double citizenship. Jews who lost Moldavian citizenship would be able to retrieve it. The new law will become effective in a month.
