Charitable action continues.
10.07.2003 37 families of Russian Jews injured in acts of terrorism in Israel will get monetary assistance from Russia. The decision was approved by the public board of the charitable action group "Hasten To Do Good", and was carried out by the Moscow branch of the World Congress of Russian Jewry (WCRJ) in June 2003. Fundraising actions to help terror victims collected almost one million roubles in one month. More than 1500 Russians offered money. Berl Lazar, chief rabbi of Russia (FJCR) and Tatiana Sapunova, the honourable chairman of the WCRJ Public board are going to Israel to deliver the money. They will meet the families of Jews from the former USSR who were victims of 4 bus explosions in Jerusalem during a terrorist attack in Aful. The public board has also decided to help Russian children who suffered from a terrorist attack in Kaspiysk (Dagestan) in 2002 according to an offer by professor Leonid Roshal, member of the action group
