The XXIIIth international conference on Jewish genealogy was held in Washington.

In the end of July, the XXIIIth international conference on Jewish genealogy was held in Washington. The conference, which was organized by the Washington Jewish Genealogical Society, attracted 140 researchers, including those from Belarus and Ukraine. Key topics of the reports were devoted to questions on methodology, technology and ethics of genealogical research. All the participants of the conference had an opportunity to work in Washington
