On May 10, 2015, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) General Council Chairman Josef Zissels held a working meeting with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) Director of the Former Soviet Union Department Michal Frank.

The parties discussed matters pertaining to relief provided to the Jews of Donbass (Ukraine), as well as cooperation in certain international programs implemented by the EAJC, particularly children’s and teenagers’ summer camps in Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, problems to preserve the Jewish cultural heritage, and the program for preparing school teachers for lessons on the history of the Holocaust in non-Jewish school. The parties also discussed technical matters of electing a delegation to the 37th Zionist Congress.
