A session of the Coordination Council of the Union of Belarusian Jewish Public Associations and Communities (SBEOOO) took place in Minsk. The session involved current affairs important for the development of the Jewish community in the Republic of Belarus.

Local communities presented reports on work that they have completed. SBEOOO Chairman, Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Council member Boris Gersten spoke of plans and projects that have already been implemented and of future SBEOOO plans. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Republic of Belarus Yosef Shagal spoke about the political situation in the Jewish state.

Members of the Coordination Council made several important decisions about future SBEOOO activity.
