In St. Petersburg, Vadim Polyansky, Chairman of the Union of Eurasian sports clubs "Maccabi", a member of the General Council of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) I met Ashin Nanissara, one of the leaders of the Buddhist Academy (Myanmar).
The sides discussed issues of inter-religious and intercultural dialogue. The meeting was attended by students from Myanmar, who are studying at universities in St. Petersburg. The Jewish community in Myanmar is a member of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
