Josef Zissels participates in Holocaust memory conference
20.10.2017, Ukraine On October 15, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Program Committee Chairman, Co-President of VAAD Ukraine Josef Zissels spoke at the opening of the international conference “Mapping memories 2017: Babyn Yar and other “forgotten” locations of the Holocaust”.
On the next day, October 16, Josef Zissels participated in a panel discussing museum and other initiatives aimed at memorializing Babyn Yar.
The conference, which continued its work until October 17, was organized by the Federal Centre for Political Education (BPB) and supported by by German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
