Azerbaijan: ‘Or Avner’ school among the top 20

Schools in Azerbaijan are annually evaluated and assessed based on various pedagogical and educational factors by the State Examination Center (SEC). The level of education granted to the students at the FJC’s ‘Or Avner’ Jewish school in the capital of Baku was rated among the top 20 in the entire country.

The school’s curriculum combines experiential Jewish heritage study programs with excellent general studies, giving the Jewish students a wholesome and well rounded education. The students test scores were exceptional, reflecting the high level of education and the dedication of the teachers and staff.

This level of excellence is of utmost importance to the Or Avner school, which wants to give its students a top level education and its graduates the opportunity to achieve any goal that they set their minds to achieving.

The school receives support and warm attention from the local Ministry of Education and from all the other government ministries, in order to enable Jewish children to continue receiving Jewish education and to preserve the special character of the community and to contribute to the diversity warmly welcomed in the country.
