A meeting of the Zionist Federation of Russia was held in the Moscow office of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress. The meeting was dedicated to electing delegates to the upcoming XXXVII World Zionist Congress, which is to take place in Jerusalem in late October.

Members of various fractions of the Confederation of General Zionists, Artzeinu, Yisrael Beiteinu, Likud, and others took part in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Natalia Schmidt, Chair of the Zionist Federation of Russia and Director of the EAJC Moscow Office.

 

The EAJC Secretary General Michael Chlenov provided a concise summary of several important aspects of participating in the congresses of the World Zionist Organization.

After the discussion, a vote took place to distribute the nine mandates provided by the Zionist Federation of Russia.
