As part of the program, the participants toured the city’s Jewish charitable and educational institutions, personally witnessing the growth and the revival of the community. They visited FJC’s Moscow Children’s home, the Machon Chamesh Jewish Institute, and the Shaarei Chesed humanitarian center. In each of the places, the delegation met with the local residents, learned about their everyday lives and made memories together.
“The Jewish community in Moscow has undergone a tremendous change in the last two decades and we are happy some of the world’s top Jewish leaders came to see the humanitarian and educational sides of the Jewish revival there,” said Mr. Daniel Gordon, FJC’s outreach coordinator.
