Moldova

The Republic of Moldova is the legal successor of the Moldavian SSR. Its area is 33,371 kilometers square (including the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic, occupying areas on the left bank of the Dniester and the district of Bendery city). Its population is about 4 million people.
